Desert Hope Treatment Center

Desert Hope restored the spirits and potential of my husband and I and saved our lives. We are beyond grateful for every department and staff member of this program and so blessed that American Addiction Centers found us placement in their care. Tessi took such great care of everything, we never had a question that went unanswered. Her role keeps her hands full, but none the less, she is ALWAYS warm, kind, fun and professional, welcoming and smiling! Roland is so inspirational and positive, a genuine preacher and vessel of recovery and hope. Miss Yvonne is so full of life and compassion, giving us relativity, belief in ourselves, a beautiful smile everytime we see her and though we traveled over a thousand miles to get treatment at Desert Hope, the presence of Miss Von really just made us feel at home, there. Miss Brandi was my husbands counselor and he found her so easy to open up to (and he has a hard time opening up with most!) Brandi is also certified to do EMDR- she did a session with me in which I quickly learned exactly why my husband took to her as he did- Brandi is so compassionate, non-judgemental, relatable, genuine and just simply great at what she does. Miss Reji was my counselor, and omg... I learned so much about myself from this woman... first of all, Miss Reji is a fierce, no non-sense, 'tell it like it is' type of gal and the way she holds herself, her views, her demeanor- I'm so blessed that I was assigned to her, because she just totally got me and helped guide me out of the zombie state I showed up in. She helped me to understand behaviors I was engaging in that were harmful (other than the obvious lol) - things i never would have even thought of... her guidance and teachings have brought me back in touch with myself and made me love myself more.. she literally paved the path of my recovery. In this program, we participate in group therapy classes with the other counselors who we were not "assigned to," as well and each of them offered great insight and so much knowledge... We always LOVED Jeff's classes because of his wild stories, his unique way of telling them, his awesome personality and the obvious success story he lives. He is an inspiration and he speaks to the group in a way that makes us feel comfortable and understood. He is also freakin hilarious. Leah teaches and guides in a unique way- she is gentle and understanding- but she is also no-nonsense and enforces structure and credibility and we love her for this. Ahkmed is so full of wisdom and knowledge and facts, his teachings are literally brainfood and are presented stylishly, with care, and attention to detail- pay attention. NOW, let me tell you about Miss Carolina .... Miss Carolina is a beautiful soul; a deep and intricate mind; a fiery, compassionate, fierce vessel of knowledge & experience. She is creative and fun and she guides us toward a better understanding of being human beings and what life is freaking about... She is coordinated yet spontaneous and vibrant- she demands accountability out of us and she wants not only that we recover- but that we address and try our best to understand the emotions associated with the process -and she presents these teachings so gracefully. Her intentions are so pure and you can just FEEL it when ur tuned in to her teachings.... she is so good at what she does. I'm not gonna spoil it for those of you who will be taking her classes forthcoming, but if you do what she says and you particpate and pay attention- this woman will change ur freakin life.... My husband and I both took so much from our learnings and participation in class and interactive activities in Miss Carolina's groups. The staff literally MAKES this experience!!! They are each a special part of our recovery journey and we are just so beyond grateful and so blessed to have met and been guided by them through this process. Also, most of the staff at Resolutions is freakin 5-star as well !!! But I will save my raving of Desert Hope's Resolutions facility for a seperate review !!!!* - Brittany & Christopher Sallee

It's been over 7 Years of Self Will Run Riot, I started coming to Groups and Grounding myself in Recovery. With the guidance of Alvin, Achmed, Jeff and several others at Desert Hope. I have gained a new perspective on life and become free, Desert Hope grounds me in a place to heal from my self inflicted wounds. It is a place of refuge.

I’ve already referred this center to several coworkers who have approached me about seeking recovery. Special shout out to Brandi who has been blessing in helping me find self acceptance and trust in others she is a true gem! Alvin is always very courteous and helpful and Roland is the friendliest and most helpful gentleman I have encountered when at Desert Hope! Jeff is inspirational he delivers perspective that has helped me make some personal breakthroughs. But thanks to all that work at Desert Hope this has been a true blessing 🙏🏼
