Recovery First Treatment Center is an American Addiction Centers (AAC) facility that specializes in inpatient drug and alcohol rehab services. Serving the Miami-Ft Lauderdale area, we offer a highly supportive environment, evidence-based addiction treatment, and numerous amenities—all of which help you begin and maintain a lasting recovery.

Recovery First Treatment Center provides the personal care and attention you need for your addiction recovery, with small groups and treatment plans catered specifically to you. At Recovery First, the staff and patients will feel just like family.

In the event of a relapse at any time post-treatment, American Addiction Centers, Inc. will provide qualified individuals with up to an additional 30 consecutive days of treatment at one of its facilities at no additional cost to you. Some people think of it as a treatment guaranty – to us, us it’s our brand promise.

Our COVID-19 protocols
Patients: We screens all patients prior to admission to determine personal travel history, potential exposure, potential contact with someone who has traveled to areas of concern, any direct contact by the patients with persons diagnosed with COVID-19, and any symptoms of illness. Those who screen positive will not be admitted to treatment. Those who screen negative will be eligible for admission.
Staff: We are committed to ensuring staff at our facilities are not infected with COVID-19 virus. Staff who have traveled to areas of concern, have been in contact with someone in these areas, have been in direct contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19, or shows any signs of illness are asked to follow the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, which dictates 14 days of isolation with no symptoms from the time of contact.

I'm going to be 💯% honest about this place I done rehab before and this place has everything that a addict of drugs or alcohol needs to get the understanding of there self and the main reason for addiction or relapse as to offer. When I showed up here I was lost and didn't understand myself but I have more confidence then I have ever had in my life. The staff is awesome and and I have to put a special thanks to staff member Gilbert he has been around me more then any of them has even after the therapy classes during the day I have been table to sit and talk to him about anything I have had questions about and he is with us every morning with dailey reflections he writes and it bring so much to our attention wile we go along in our day and then even raps up the day with a question about what we gather through out our day on the topic... I own a great thanks to the place and will be the one place I use to let anybody know if there ready to change there life I know the perfect place.

I had a problem, and they helped figure out how to solve it and fix it. Had a very rough decade but after detoxing for a week I was going to leave and go home, but a fellow client convinced me to go to inpatient residential treatment for further rehabilitation (RTC), I do not regret it.
They gave me the correct tools to learn more about myself and the source of my problems. I feel confident stepping out into the real world. They treat you like people here and I won't forget how welcome I felt. They also have AA every night at residential treatment.
I recommend this place if you have a problem.

Action, care and compassion. Is the only way to describe Recovery First. As a client I’m very thankful that I found this place. From the intake to residential it has been more than what I expected. Thank you for listening, thank you for caring and for meeting up to my expectations.
